1. | Preheat oven to 350° and lightly grease a baking dish. |
2. | Cook pasta about 2-3 minutes less than it says on the box. |
3. | Just before pasta is done, heat pasta sauce in a large pan over low heat. Stir in the cream and parmesan. Allow to simmer for a few minutes. |
4. | Once pasta is ready, remove the sauce from the heat and stir in pasta. |
5. | Add mozzarella cubes (but not the rounds), the tomatoes and the basil and stir to combine. |
6. | Pour the mixture into the baking dish and top with mozzarella rounds. |
7. | Bake for ~25 minutes, until cheese is just a bit golden. |
8. | Allow to sit for a couple of minutes and then serve. |
