| 1. | Cut tomatoes in half and place in crock pot overnight. |
| 2. | Run a stick blender through tomatoes. |
| 3. | Run resulting mixture through a food mill. |
| 4. | Combine all the remaining ingredients with the tomato sauce in a large sauce pot. |
| 5. | Bring to a boil and reduce and simmer, making sure all the sugar has dissolved. |
| 6. | Simmer until desired thickness is reached. |
| 7. | Serve immediately or place in pint jars leaving 1/2 inch head space. Water bath can for 20 minutes. |
