2. | Stir in all other ingredients except peaches, and add 1/2 cup water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let sauce simmer, uncovered, until thickened. Stir frequently, so it doesn't burn. After 5 minutes, add peaches and continue to simmer for about 10 minutes, adding water if it gets too thick. When peaches are starting to fall apart, remove from heat and puree until silky with a stick blender. Serve at room temperature. |
