Spaghetti Squash and Meat Sauce

INGREDIENTS

For Spaghetti
One Spaghetti Squash
For Sauce
2tsp olive oil
1/2lb ground turkey
1yellow onion, diced
4Ripe Tomatoes, diced
1small can of Tomato Paste
3cloves of garlic, minced
3tbsp Dried Basil
1tsp Sugar
Salt to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

For Spaghetti
1.Preheat your oven to 400. Cut the Squash in half and remove the seeds. Take a roasting dish (you may need two) and place 3/4 cup of water in it. Place the squash cut side down into it. Cook for 40 mins or until the inside is tender.
2.Use a fork on the inside of the squash to remove the spaghetti.
For Sauce
1.While the squash is in the oven, dice your onion and place it in a pot with your olive oil, add your ground turkey and brown over medium heat. Once the meat is cooked add the rest of the ingredients. Let stew on medium-low with lid on until the squash is done, stirring occasionally.
2.This will make a lot of food, store any leftovers in a freezer bag and reheat in a pan for a later meal.
